National Problem Gambling Clinic
The National Problem Gambling Clinic was the first NHS specialist clinic for the treatment of those living in England and Wales. It offers a range of individual and group psychological treatments for problem gambling, support for family and friends, aftercare support groups, help with money management, a specialist service for young people and a clinic for the treatment of online gaming disorder. People can refer themselves to the service or be referred by a doctor or other professional.

The Northern Gambling Service
This NHS service, new in 2019, run by Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, is the first gambling service of its kind to launch outside London. Its first base in Leeds has now opened, and further bases in Manchester and Sunderland are set to open in early 2020.

Gordon Moody Houses
The Gordon Moody Association, founded in 1971 and named after its founder the Reverend Gordon Moody, provides residential support for those with gambling problems. It operates two centres, one in London-Kent, the other in the West Midlands.

GamCare
GamCare is a national charity offering confidential information, advice, practical help, support and counselling for anyone adversely affected by problem gambling, including family and friends. Anyone can talk in confidence to one of GamCare’s advisers, one to one, by phone (HelpLine 0808 8020 133) or online (NetLine www.gamcare.org.uk), or chat online to others facing similar problems on the Forum and ChatRoom.

Gamblers Anonymous (GA)
Gamblers Anonymous run group meetings in 180 locations over the UK, where you can find support, friendship and help with your gambling problem. Everything said in the group is confidential, and group members are known by their first name only. The GA recovery programme is based on 12 steps, also used by other groups such as Alcoholics Anonymous.
